To provide connections, opportunities, and a platform for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) young professionals who have a passion for their community and careers.

Our Vision


A thriving, diverse and collaborative group of BIPOC professionals who have made a lasting impact on our peers and throughout the community of Sarasota.

Emerge Sarasota is a 501c(3) non-profit organization designed to connect like-minded, BIPCO young professionals in the area. Emerge will provide young professionals—ages 25-40— with educational, professional, and personal development opportunities all while building lasting relationships with members and the local community. 

Emerge aims to:

  • CONNECT members to established leaders/organizations in the city and identify other emerging leaders

  • BUILD members’ leadership skills and careers through a number of different professional events, community engagement resources, and volunteer opportunities

  • INSPIRE members (and the community) to share their lives, talents, passions, and skills with one another

  •  ENRICH the unique community we all share through partnership and collaboration
